The best part about summer ending is football season beginning. Want to watch Brian Kelly coach his team to victory this year? Well I really can’t help them win but I can help show you how to watch. So breakout your computer, phone, or tablet to start streaming.
Use these easy ways to stream the game live from the comfort of your own home. Notre Dame is the only team in both professional or college, to have all of their games broadcast nationally not only on the radio but has all of their home games broadcast nationally on TV.
All of the Irish’s games, both home and away, are broadcast on NBC. There is really no excuse for a Notre Dame fan to miss a game day. So if you can’t be in South Bend, Indiana tailgating in the parking lot and cheering ND on to victory in the stands, then ensure you don’t miss a single play by live streaming the game.
1) Use the cable TV subscription you already have to stream the game. ESPN. com allows you to watch live games by logging in with your cable subscription. Head to the website ESPN.go.com and click on the “watch now” link with will allow you to log in and start watching. Also depending on your cable TV provider, you may be able to go to their website, login and start watching. Some services like DirectTV will allow you to login and stream the game on your phone or tablet through their app.
2) Use a website that provides free streaming. Some free websites that allowing streaming are wiziwig.tv, xrxs.net, streamtowatch.me or liveball.tv. These websites tend to be unreliable but are worth mentioning.
3) Notre Dame is unique because it has all of their games currently broadcast on NBC. Go to nbcsports.com and click on the “watchlive” link at the top of your screen to watch. This is the most reliable option and is also legal and free. Obviously NBC recognizes that Notre Dame football is the most successful and iconic program in all of college football. This team continues to impress year after year.
4) Use an app, Both Android and IOS operating systems have apps available for streaming. Check the websites above such as NBC, your specific cable provider or ESPN to download the available app. “theScore” and “College Football Scoreboard” are a couple of other apps that provide up to the minute score updates as well as play by play coverage.
If you find yourself without a phone, tablet, or computer it may be your best move to head over to a friend’s house that has cable (and snacks preferably) or your local sports bar.
The best of these options is to head to nbcsports.com or download the NBC app for your tablet or phone. The games are always available and always free. This will continue until the year 2025 in which case the contract with NBC expires.
May the luck of the Irish be with you in your live streaming quest!
